He must have been in a real hurry to go, even before the Local Council votes have been counted. After waiting two years, was it too much to wait a few weeks more? Because, I don't know if Micallef realises it, but his obvious hastiness looks very bad and doesn't seem at all planned. It's a PR embarrassment for the PL and for Robert Abela in person.
